What is PDF?
PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It is a file type created
by Adobe that allows users on virtually any computer platform
to view, browse, and print formatted files as they were originally
formatted. In the case of Gamewright's rule files, using PDF allows
us to make our files available with the original layout and illustration,
instead of plain text. To view a PDF file, you must have Adobe's
Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. This software is free
and can be downloaded from a number of locations on the Internet,
including the Adobe web site. This page will provide you with
information on how to download and use Acrobat Reader with our
rule files.
