When the Horse Bug Bites
If I had money I tell you what I'd do. I go down town and buy a horse or two. Crazy about horse, crazy about horse. I'm going to buy me a horse and ride it up and down the road!!! Hey, have you been bitten by the horse bug, because I have. Do you love horse! Dream about horse! Sleep with horse! If you have answered yes to any of these questions you probably have been infected with horse-its. Don't worry there is a cure but there is only one cure and that is mom dad- Buy me a horse.

This is how I got my best friend Scrunchie. He is small but he is mighty. This is probably where he gets his name scrunchie. Some people say I am a scrunchie too. We make a good pair. Showing hasn't always been easy for scrunchie and I because you can see we are always the smallest in the class, and well, scrunchie has a bit of a stubborn streak. If only there was a red ribbon for this. But we are getting better and scrunchie is really working hard on his bad attitude. Scrunchie and I do many things together. Our favourite is trail riding. I always take a lunch and a big carrot for scrunchie and I turned my back for just I second and scrunchie ate my lunch- my peanut butter sandwich, my blueberries were gone! And I was left with the carrot. Boy did I get the horse laugh that day. Scrunchie has taught me a lot of lessons. Some of them were hard lessons to learn. But it's like my great Grampie Bobby always said that a good fall off is better than a poor stay on. Scrunchie and I are best friends. I am glad I was bitten by the horse bug.

So kids if you have horse-its it's time you started working on your Mom and Dad so you can get better. After all if your crazy about horses crazy about horses you should be riding up and down the road.
